Lake Etta County Park sits in the southwest corner of Gary with put-and-take fishing ponds; a fishing fee is collected only when a gatekeeper is on duty.
No Indiana fishing license is required inside the park, but Lake County Parks rules apply: 10 fish per day, two-pole limit, and strict catch-and-release on largemouth bass.
